BELOVED, GOD DESIRES YOUR WELL-BEING
Text: 3 John 2
Theme: God's Desire for Your Total Prosperity
"Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." (3 John 2)
Introduction
Many people question whether God truly cares about their physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. This verse removes all doubt. The Apostle John, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, expresses God's loving concern for His children. God's desire extends beyond material prosperity to the complete flourishing of our lives.
1. God Speaks to His "Beloved"
John begins with the word "Beloved." This reminds us that our relationship with God is founded on His love.
God's blessings flow from His love, not because we deserve them.

2. God Desires you to Prosper.

Joshua 1:8, Psalm 1:1–3
3. God Desires You to Be in Health.
Health is one of God's blessings. While we live in a fallen world where sickness exists, God invites us to seek Him for strength, healing, and grace.
Jesus demonstrated God's compassionate heart by healing the sick throughout His earthly ministry.
Cross referemce::
Matthew 4:23, Psalm 103:2–3.
4. Spiritual Health Comes First.
John says, "even as thy soul prospereth."
A healthy soul produces a fruitful life. Our greatest need is not physical healing alone but spiritual renewal through Christ.
Cross referemce::
Matthew 6:33, Psalm 23:3.
God is expecting you to:
•Pursue spiritual growth every day.
•Pray confidently, knowing God cares for every area of your life.
•Trust God's wisdom even when His answers come differently than expected.
•Care for your body as God's gift.
Conclusion.
God's ultimate desire is to make us whole in Christ. Whether He heals instantly, gradually, or strengthens us through trials, His purpose is always our eternal good.
Come to Christ today. Receive His forgiveness, His peace, and His gracious care for every part of your life.
Closing Prayer.
"Father, thank You for loving us as Your beloved children. Prosper our souls, strengthen our faith, and supply all our needs according to Your perfect will. Help us to trust You in every circumstance. In Jesus' name. Amen."
